GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS PASSION FOR SPORTS | SPORTEVENTS

Participation is valid only after payment of the registration fee.
If, due to exceptional circumstances (mainly extreme weather conditions or circumstances where the safety of participants cannot be guaranteed), the event cannot take place, the participant may claim a refund of 40% of the registration fee in the form of credits that are valid for 1 year.  
If an event cannot take place because of a resurgence of COVID-19, participants will receive a voucher (credits) worth 40% of the registration fee. Not included in the voucher are: ACTI+ insurance, administration costs and donations. This voucher will only be given if an event cannot take place because of COVID-19.  For individual cases ( infected with COVID-19 or travel restriction ) the above general cancellation conditions always apply.
Participation requires good health. The participant declares to comply with this condition. The organisation recommends a preventive sports medical examination by a recognised sports doctor before participation. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any medical problems of the participant.
Insurance against physical accidents is not included in the registration for our participants. If it is included it will be clearly mentioned on the site.
Each participant must wear a start number visible on his/her chest or back.
The organisation is not responsible for damage, loss and/or theft of personal items from the participant before, during and after the races.
The participants accept the uniqueness of this kind of races/raids/events and will, despite the presence of signalmen, always take into account possible walking or car traffic. They will follow the recommendations given by the organisation and the general highway code will apply at all times.
The organisation reserves the right to change the route as well as the foreseen planning and starting times for reasons of safety or accessibility.
The prize pool and distribution mentioned on the website is not definitive and may be unilaterally modified by the organiser.
All information from the participants is intended for Passion for Sports. It may however be passed on to parties which are contractually bound to the organiser. By participating in the event you agree with a possible use of your photo in print, film, video, etc. for promotional purposes of the organiser, without claiming compensation.


GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION

You can cancel your registration YOURSELF up to 3 weeks before the event. Cancellation is done via your Passion For Sports Account. Under no circumstances will we refund the registration fee. You receive credits which are valid for 1 year.


If you cancel later than 21 days before the event: This is not possible and you will NOT receive any credits.


Changing your details and/or options is done SELF in your Passion For Sports account: If your new details result in a lower cost and you do this more than 3 weeks before an event, your account will be credited and you can use that amount for your next subscription. If your new details result in a higher registration fee, you will have to pay that amount to complete the change. If you wish to cancel, your account will be credited in accordance with our cancellation policy. This amount can then be used later for another registration. You can only make these changes via your account while online registrations are open. If you want to make changes later on, you will have to contact the secretariat.
When purchasing ACTI+ extra cancellation insurance ( if available as an option with your registration ) the above conditions no longer apply and the conditions of the ACTI+ insurance apply. 
You cancel more than 1 day before the event: Your account will be 100% credited*.
You cancel < 24 hours or 1 day before the event : This is not possible and you will receive NO credits.
* If you cannot upload a valid doctor's note within the set time limit, your ACTI+ insurance expires and the normal cancellation conditions of the organiser apply.
